We must focus on our Infrastructure

We are facing important infrastructure challenges. Our water issues, for example, have put us in the news nationally - and not for the right reasons. If we are serious about attracting business and growing our economy we have to be serious about our infrastructure. I have extensive experience at the local, state, and federal levels and the private sector with infrastructure, construction, and utility projects. If you vote for me, I will lead Orange County’s efforts on these important issues.

I will work directly with the Rapidan Service Authority (RSA) to improve their delivery of services and provide more transparency
- Little to no notice was given when RSA raised Gordonsville Water/Sewer rates.
- RSA has been plagued with issues both in the Town of Gordonsville and at Lake of the Woods.
- As the second largest customer of RSA (Town of Gordonsville) the next D1 Supervisor will likely become a member of the RSA Board.
I will protect Orange County Water Resources from the State mandated regional water planning
- Orange County must work in the new State framework to protect our resources and solve our current and future water issues.
- District 1 and other parts of Orange County have water resources beneath the ground – they must be protected from exploitation by other Counties.

I have an extensive background in technology and communication project installations.

Fiberlync must be expanded to the areas not currently serviced (Gordonsville and other areas) and then into areas currently served by other companies to increase competition.

I will work to ensure Fiberlync is here to stay and that it will increase value to the County and customers over the long term.

I understand and have first-hand public and private sector experience. We must develop limits and standards that deal with:

Water usage, noise, run-off, decommissioning, transmission lines
Impacts to neighbors, viewsheds, and others.

These uses must be considered carefully and sometimes not allowed at all, so there are no negative impacts to our existing residents and businesses. I continue to work with the Commission and Board of Supervisors to implement limits and standards for data centers and public utilities (power generation) – but it hasn’t been easy. I need your vote so we can finish the job!

Our schools are the heart of our community. We must ensure they have the resources to provide a safe, quality education for every child. I will support smart investment that strengthens our schools, respects taxpayers, and prepares our students for success.

I will support Career and Technical Education (CTE) and other programs like the Governor's Schools to prepare our children for the future.

I will support the elected school board-and I will ALWAYS support parents.

I am unwavering in my stance that developers who build residential neighborhoods bear a significant portion of the cost of schools, roads, and other infrastructure.
