We need good paying jobs so our families and children can stay, live, and work here. I will focus on creating jobs by expanding our industrial and commercial base while protecting the areas of Orange County best suited for farming and agritourism.

Property rights are cornerstones of our freedom. I  have always fought to defend them. But that doesn’t mean growth at any cost. Growth must benefit our local economy and never come at the expense of higher taxes for hardworking families.

People in the Town of Gordonsville and other parts of the County are unhappy with the Rapidan Service Authority (RSA)-and I agree RSA must do better. I will use my experience to bring transparency and better planning to the RSA. And I will protect the County's water resources from the new State mandated regional water planning initiatives. 

These are urgent challenges that demand action—not later, but now. As Chairman of the Planning Commission, I’ve been leading efforts with Commissioners and the Board to require limits and standards on data centers, distribution centers, and industrial solar. These issues need faster action and they are a top priority for me.

Our quality of life is constantly under threat from outside pressures. We’ve weathered many challenges so the beauty and charm of our community can survive. My background as a determined, creative problem solver has prepared me to make the kinds of common-sense decisions that attract businesses, grow local jobs, and protect our way of life—without raising taxes. I am dedicated to protecting and preserving our rural quality of life. My record of service reflects that dedication. 

It is critical in this digital age that FiberLync and broadband become available to all who want it. I whole-heartedly support the FiberLync and broadband build out and will use my expertise to make sure the service reaches all, remains accessible and certainly, affordable.
